Analyzer
PURPOSE:
For automatic, laboratory measurements of grain-size distribution of broken stone and key aggregate in a range from 1 up to 130 mm for 1 dimension wesion and 1:90 for 3 dimensions
For full simulation of sieve analysis.
For optimisation of grinding process or mix selection.
MEASURING PRINCIPLE:
The infrared or laser light beam in the sensor is scattered by moving aggregate that is transported through the measuring zone. An electric impulse corresponds to each grain. The impulse is proportional to the particle size. The set of particles is initially measured with the division into 4096 channels and converted (calibrated) into 256 size classes, which are available to a user.
Huge measuring zone [“w” x 300 mm] with equal sensitivity is characteristic for this method. The “w” dimension of measuring zone depends on optical system, that is used, and is equal to 110, 160 or 190 mm.
Special feeder for a dozen or so kilograms of mineral materials is also a special feature in this method.
MESURING PROCEDURE:
AWK B analyser consists in main electronic unit [1] that is connected with: electric control box [2], measuring sensor [3] and desktop computer [4] with special interface. The whole measuring process is controlled through keyboard [5]. After the measurement is over and the results are automatically stored on the computer drive the analyser’s settings return to initial state
The track is a base for operating part of the analyser. The electric control box [2] equipped with servo [7] is hanged on the rigid stainless steel frame [6]. The servo [7] with pusher [8] slopes the feeding chute [9], that hangs on bearing bar [10]. The measuring sensor [3] with 300 x ~200 mm inlet is placed on the frame [6]. The chute [9] has a vibrator [12]. During measurement, in gradual manner, the chute [9] is sloped to the low position, after the vibrator [12] achieves the maximal level of vibrations. Thanks to that whole MM is sloped from chute [9] through the measuring inlet [11] below the analyser. The intensity of sloping is controlled and regulated by computer [4].
